museos.ve

Digital magazine for the dissemination of Venezuelan museology. Our purpose is to disseminate the experiences that arise from the reflection of museology, museum praxis, academic research, the dynamics and processes of the museum that constitute its reason for being: conserving, researching, communicating and exhibiting the cultural and natural heritage of the nation.

Museos.ve nº46

This second installment dedicated to house-museums fills us with satisfaction. From the family use that these properties initially had, they have now become the country's heritage. The important figures of a nation who lived their daily lives there, at a certain time, now have a space for education, the conservation of their heritage and the investigation of their legacy.

Museos.ve nº44

It fills us with great enthusiasm and pride to collect the stories of the Venezuelan house-museums that have opened their doors, beyond their family use, to be reread as part of the national heritage.

Museos.ve nº43

In the second installment of Museums, Architecture and Conservation we share with immense pleasure the selection of stories designed for heritage buildings with the aim of later managing them as museums. They are part of inspiring experiences in the restoration of properties in Venezuela.

Museos.ve nº42

It is with immense pleasure that we present the 42nd edition of Museums. See Museum, Architecture and Conservation as a recognition of the architectural infrastructures, cultural legacies and heritage of our past that became museum institutions at the service of society, open to the public, accessible and inclusive that promote diversity and sustainability.

Museos.ve nº41

Museums and their architecture are among the most evident manifestations of the new millennium. From the architect Etienne-Louis Boullée, to the latest generation museums, some recurring morphologies are identified without forgetting that, among public buildings, the museum is the one that most reflects the society to which it belongs.
